VINNYTSIA WINS THE BRONZE ON THE MARATHON IN BELFAST

 

In Belfast (Northern Ireland) Vira Ovcharuk, a teacher of the Department of Physical Education of Vinnytsia National Technical University, finished the 38th City Marathon of Deep River Rock Belfast City third!

This year Belfast Marathon has been attended by 17 thousand athletes from different countries of the world. It’s organized by Belfast City Council and Northern Ireland Athletics Federation.

On March 31, Vira Ovcharuk won the Marathon Stara Zagora (Bulgaria). The result of the Marathon Stara Zagora is 2.38.07 — the 1st place.

In Belfast, Vira finished third and broke her personal record by 2.37.13.

The gold medalist of Belfast Marathon Caroline Jepchirchir has the result 02:34:55. Kenyan Caroline Jepchirchir has won in Belfast for the second year in a row.

This year two Ukrainian women took part in the marathon.

Having also broken her personal record by 2.43.56, Khrystyna Bohomiahkova won the 5th place.

By the way, Vira Ovcharuk won the 1st place in Khmelnytskyi semi-marathon on May 18.
On May 26, Vira also won Vinnytsia semi-marathon with the result 1.16.32!
