Two records of Ukraine have established the students of the Vinnytsia National Technical University in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad of radiotechnics, which took place in our university at the beginning of April


One hundred of original radiosculptures from electronic components and radio components - this exhibition collection by the number of items is defined as a record one.  As well as a working soldering iron for Gulliver's size in a stature of the ordinary person (175.5 cm).


In celebrations of the completion of professional racing among the radio engineering students Nicholay Kostyuk, an authorized representative of the "Guinness Book of Records in Ukraine" held a formal procedure for fixing the record of Ukraine.  The diplomas that certify this achievement, Mr. Kostyuk presented to the Rector of the VNTU, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vladymir GRABKO.


The authors of the most interesting and promising development works, the professional jury recognized the students of the Department of Radio Engineering of the VNTU Yaroslav Osadchuk, Vitaliy Vozniuk and Alexeiy Lazun.


The winners and prize-holders (Victor Kohut, Vladimir Kuzin, Vadim Dzhevaga, Victor Slobodyanyuk, Dmitry Mikhailyuk) were awarded by the Sponsors of this Olympiad 2014 with great prizes. Young radio-amateurs received from companies “Meleksis-Ukraine "(Kyiv) and “Intertelekom" the latest professional literature and original high-speed Internet modems with free connection.


For the sixth consecutive year in Vinnytsia National Technical University takes place the finals of the All-Ukrainian student Olympiad of radiotechnics. But the radioskulptures exhibition was held for the first time.  However, taking into the account, the strong interest of the participants and the media to this format of displaying the  radio talent, the organizational committee took the decision to do the exposure of the radio creative work on a traditional basis.  Therefore, in the future the students who are participating in a radio Olympiad, are invited to come with their copyright radio engineering units, devices and instruments.


This year, despite the difficult socio-political developments in the state, for the  student intellectual competition came 32 students from 10 leading universities in Ukraine.


Young specialists of the radio-engineering at the All-Ukrainian student Olympiad demonstrated their knowledge of basic disciplines - "Fundamentals of circuit theory", "Signals and Processes in the radiotechnics", "Analog electronic devices", "Electrodynamics and Radio Wave Propagation," "Digital devices and microprocessors."


The importance of intellectual event was celebrated by the chairman of the Vinnytsia regional state administration Anatoliy Oleynik and by the head of the Vinnytsia regional council Sergei Swytko. Their letter of congratulation to the young participants of the radio engineering Olympiad was read by the Deputy director of education department in the Vinnytsia regional state administration Valeriy Bachinskyi.


The representative of the general partner AUSO-2014 — the head of the central regional administration department "Datagroup" Valeriy Ruban said that the Vinnytsia National Technical University had been and is the most powerful educational institution of skilled labor force not only in the region but also all over Ukraine.


Radio engineering students from universities of Kyiv, Odessa, Lviv, Zaporyzzhya,  Zhytomyr, Kharkiv and Vinnytsia competed in individual and team standings.


Winners of the Individual tour:

1st place - Vladimir Pankiv (Zhytomyr Military Institute named after S.P. Korolev of the State University of Telecommunications);

2nd place - Dmitry Poludenko (Vinnytsia National Technical University);

3rd place - Roman Dubrovka (National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute"), Sergey Altunin (National University "Lviv Polytechnic").


Winners of the team tour:

1st Place - Zhytomyr Military Institute named after S.P. Korolev of the State University  of Telecommunications;

2nd place - Vinnytsia National Technical University;

3rd place - National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.
