A good tradition for electricians of Ukraine for more than a year is a comprehensive protection of academic degree projects in real time, started in 2010, when with the help of Internet technology was defended the first project by the students of the Vinnytsia National Technical University and the National University of Kremenchug named after Michael Ostrogradskiy.

And this year was no exception. However, it expanded its limits: in the past year in interuniversity comprehensive diploma project design took part students of three universities (Vinnytsia National Technical University, National University of Kremenchug named after Michael Ostrogradskiy and Dneprodzerzhinsk State Technical University), then this year they were joined by another student from the Dnipropetrovsk National Mining university.

On-line defense reaffirmed its superiority over the standard approach to final certification of graduates as it encourages intensive development of laboratory facilities, promoting exchanges between universities, which extends the knowledge of Electromechanics and modern IT technology and decreases the flow of time and cost of the process.

Simultaneously is developing a technical feasibility of the procedure of defense. Having tried the means of webinar Center for Distance Education at the VNTU on a base of the system e-Learning Server 3000, Internet telephony and text and video communication Skype, for the second time it was decided to stop on the software cloud technology Microsoft Lync 2010 Microsoft Office 365, which confirmed its reputation as wide opportunities to use presentations and quality of video communication.

All graduates successfully defended their works, each receiving a well-deserved "excellent" mark.

After analyzing the on-line defense, the Commission formed tasks to further developed cooperation and involvement of Internet innovations of other universities.
