Attache for university and scientific cooperation of the Embassy of France in Ukraine Gilles Mametz and coordinator of the program Campus France in Ukraine Olha Dorosh visited VNTU
The foreign guests presented our students grant and scholarship programs and other opportunities for interuniversity communication. They assured that they are very interested in cooperation with our university.
Instead of making a framework agreement it was offered to cooperate immediately.
Three areas were marked:
scholarship exchange programmes Erasmus Mundus supported by France for students of VNTU;
implementation of the program of academic mobility “Double Diploma” between VNTU and technical universities in France;
scientific cooperation at the level “Professor-Professor” between teachers of French universities and VNTU working in the same field.
VNTU has already cooperated with the French Republic.
Head of the Department of Philosophy and Humanities of VNTU, Ph.D., Professor Oleh Khoma is a laureate of Publishing Assistance Programme “Skovoroda” carried out by French Embassy and French Institute in Ukraine (Mr Khoma was awarded for the translation and publication of the work by Jean-Jacques Rousseau “The Social Contract”).
The Faculty of Power Engineering and Electromechanics of VNTU has got an authorized training center of “Schneider Electric”, a powerful French machine-building company that specializes in electricity distribution, automation management and produces installation components for energy management.
For two years Vinnytsia National Technical University has been cooperating with the company IGE + XAO GROUP, which is a software publisher designing, producing, selling and ensuring the maintenance of a range of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. In November the president of the company, CEO of the French site Alain Di Crescenzo and CEO of the Polish site Jacek Tarkowski visited VNTU.
VNTU and French universities have previously participated and now have joint projects in TEMPUS Tacis.
