This large-scale environmental forum at Vinnytsia National Technical University is held every 2 years. This year nearly two hundred delegates and about a hundred free listeners participate in it.
Volodymyr Hrabko, the Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Congress, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Acting Rector of VNTU greeted the participants of the meeting:
“Our City Council has decided to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere by 20 percent in Vinnytsia by 2020. We have to improve our mentality to the level of those countries which care of ecology – Japan, Norway, Switzerland. We have to develop all together and each of us in particular.”
Franz Stalder, an euroexpert of the Swiss Expert Corps SWISSCONTACT, was involved in the work of the Congress. This year he has already held the international scientific and practical workshop “Management of waste; resources and energy saving. The European experience” for students- environmentalists for the third time. Mr. Stalder made a report that is consonant with the theme of the seminar.
