Vinnytsia is the third city after Kyiv and Lviv where the presentation of the exhibition “The Tragic Scrolls of the Ukrainian Science” has been held. Since now this exhibition will remain at VNTU forever
The exhibition was presented by the author and project director Vasyl Shenderovskyi, Member of the Board of the Ukrainian legal organization “Memorial” named after Vasyl Stus, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Senior Researcher of the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
This exhibition is actually created from essays about famous Ukrainian scholars, cultural figures, which are published in three volumes “Let the world of science not to slake” by Vasyl Shenderovskyi.
The exhibition was prepared at the initiative of Stepan Kubiv, People's Deputy of Ukraine, Head of the “Memorial” named after Vasyl Stus. And it was presented with the support of the Art Fund named after Danylo King.
Opening the Vernissage about Ukrainian scientists Rector of VNTU, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Volodymyr Hrabko remarked:
“It is very nice that this exhibition is presented at VNTU. It is another proof that our nation has powerful intelligence. The information presented at the stands will be used when teaching students.”
“Oksana Pakhlovska, the daughter of the famous Ukrainian poetess Lina Kostenko, noted, “There is a contribution of Ukrainian scientists in every area of technological progress”. I completely support this idea. So, Survey! Read! Think!” says Vasyl Shenderovskyi.
