Rector of VNTU, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Hrabko and VNTU coordinator of the project “Ukraine-Norway”, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor Yurii Buriennikov attended the second annual meeting of the universities-participants of the Norwegian-Ukrainian University Alliance (NUUA), which took place in Budo (Norway).
The initiator of the meeting was the University NORD and the Higher School of Business and Management (Budo, Norway).
Alliance participants discussed the results of their cooperation and outlined their perspectives. First of all they examined the main directions including the development of social and cultural cooperation between universities, the exchange of students, the results and prospects for former military according to the project “Ukraine-Norway” of the International Foundation for Social Adaptation.
There was a ceremony of signing a cooperation agreement with the new universities. Three Ukrainian universities ─ Lesia Ukrainka Eastern European National University, Chernihiv National Technological University and Melitopol Institute of State and Municipal Administration ─ officially entered the NUUA.
So, there are 16 universities in the Norwegian-Ukrainian University Alliance now.
