Our Vinnytsia National Technical University is on the 23rd position among 200 higher education institutions in the country. Last year, the University was on 25th position, two years ago it was on the 28th position of this ranking
The centre for International Projects “Euroosvita” (“Eurostudy”) in partnership with the international team of experts presented the 11th academic ranking of higher educational institutions of Ukraine “Top-200 Ukraine”.
The integral index is represented by three components ─ quality of scientific and pedagogical potential, quality of training and international recognition.
For next 5-10 years most traditional professions will disappear and new ones will replace them, however, universities continue and even increase their training in outdated curriculums and techniques. Therefore, the most important criteria for university ranking at present are their actual innovation activity, their close connection with the developed labor market and the achievement of the world level.
It is worth saying that the source data for determining the rating was provided directly by the universities and obtained from independent Web resources.
So, in 2017 the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” named after Ihor Sikorskyi again became the sole leader in the ranking “Top-200 Ukraine”. The second place in the ranking was given to Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv as well as last year.
Vinnytsia National Medical University named after M. Pyrohov is the 26th in the ranking. VNMU has risen three positions compared with its last year's position.
Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus is the 27th.
Vinnytsia National Agrarian University (VNAU) is the 129th as well as last year.
Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Kotsubynskyi is the 158th. Last year it was the 162nd.
