On October 3, Vinnytsia National Technical University creatively celebrated its 57th anniversary

At first there were lessons to 11.00. And then there were the celebrations at the faculties — meeting with interesting people and successful graduates.


Lecturers and students of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Electromechanics met with a recent graduate from this faculty Andrii Polishchuk, General Director of PJSC “Vinnitsaoblenergo”, candidate of technical sciences.


The Department of Computer Control Systems organized a meeting of students and lecturers with the leaders of the company EPAM-Ukraine. EPAM is the largest IT company in Ukraine. The meeting is timed to the start of the training courses of the company at VNTU.


The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport presented an exhibition of toy cars and retro cars.


Cultural and educational center of VNTU held a creative event dedicated to a member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, young poetess Oleksandra Burbelo, daughter of Deputy Director of the Institute of Magistracy, Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies of VNTU, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Svitlana Bevz and candidate of technical sciences Serhii Burbelo, combatants in the ATO. Oleksandra Burbelo left a generous work, 9 issued  collections of her works. Two more books are being prepared for publication. This year the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has recommended works of young Vinnytsia poetess Oleksandra Burbelo for the curriculum of the Ukrainian Literature of 5-9 forms throughout the state.


Former University graduate Mykhailo Didenko held a master class in pottery.


Uzhhorod artist Artur Tyvodar presented his new collection of paintings “Several drops of dew”.


Dynamic events took place both at the university stadium, where the football teams of the Faculty of computer systems and automation and the Faculty of power engineering and electrical mechanics competed for the VNTU Football Cup, and in the square in front of the main educational building of VNTU. There was an exhibition of scientific achievements and technical developments of the faculties of VNTU, a presentation of student organizations of VNTU, and a contest of flower compositions “My alma mater”.


VNTU scientific and technical library organized several book exhibitions: “Scientific achievements of the scientists of VNTU”, “VNTU: steps forward and scientific achievements”, and as always they managed to surprise with an emotional collage “VNTU is the best!”


Last year, a new youth technical movement IT-SCOUTS was presented on the Day of the University. It is nice to note that today IT-SCOUTS is successfully developing. Last summer there were organized school camps, where children studied the basics of Web programming, robotics and had saturated meaningful leisure time. In September clubs of these directions started to work at VNTU. On October 21, the first Hakaton IT-SCOUTS will be held.


Last year the Startup School Sikorsky Challenge Vinnytsia was founded at the University. Now it has given 19 startup projects and the winners received the first funding for the implementation of prototypes for their own development. This year, the school continues its work. More info —


“Profession in poetry” is a contest from the Director of the Center of educative work of VNTU, candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Professor Anatolii Tekliuk. Students of different faculties told about their future professions by rhymes.


Head of VNTU, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Hrabko greeted the university community and wished students scholarships and easy sessions, as well as curious students to lecturers.


The contest “Louboutins of the Polytechnic” caused a real furor! Students of each specialty presented not just trivial shoes with red soles, but something that had little to do with their specialty.


The photo contest “Visiting Franz Kafka” showed VNTU teachers at work and their hobbies, and also caused a flurry of emotions.


The main guest of the concert was rock band “Don't mess, for will be killed” (the soloist is a graduate of the Radio Engineering faculty of VNTU Andrii Rudyk).


The fire show finished that spectacular feast.
