The Career Fair 2018 gathered at VNTU the top companies of the region and the state — KNESS Group, ZoomSupport, Binary Studio Ltd, Astound Commerce, Exadel, RIA, Tiras-12, Firewood, and others.

Employers from Lviv invited to join the community of creators of chocolate enjoyment.

“We represent the confectionery factory “Svitoch”. Here we meet students, tell them about the internship program and the opportunity to practice. We are waiting for young people who are ready to work and develop production and big business,” says Olena Barabash.

Before the event students had been able to fill in a resume that organizers distributed among the employers participating in the Career Fair 2018.

Olena Kurilova, HR Manager, Trading House “Ukrservice”:

“We have got our own online store, IT center, and service department, so we need a variety of specialists. Students are interested in the company. At the moment, we have employed two students from the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Engineering, they have not graduated from the University yet. One of them works in the IT-department, the other one in the department of direct sales. They are Oleh Korolenko and Vladyslav Lehoida. By the way, I worked at the Department of Information Security of VNTU but I have already been working for this company for 10 years. We really need VNTU students and I know there are very good students here. Even just talking with them, you get a lot of pleasure because they have a high professional level.”

“Our company is one of the three leaders of Ukraine in providing high-quality equipment to enterprises. Our company consists of a network of branches, shops (Master and Farmer), a certified service center. We have more than 20 brands of our own imports, which we supply to national networks, to the largest Internet sites of Ukraine, for example, Rozetka. There are official representatives of the world's largest manufacturers — Bosch, Metabo, Makita, Husqvarna and many others. In our team we gather active, purposeful and positive people, ready to improve their knowledge and professional qualities,” told Olena Kurilova.

Students had the opportunity to communicate personally with the managers and HR managers of employers having missed tests, telephone and Skype interviews. And then attend a presentation of the company that interested.

In order to make the event not too formal, BEST Vinnytsia and the partners — the Union of Students of VNTU and Creative space Artynov held a mega raffle at the Career Fair 2018.

Here are the winners with prizes:

Artem Polivodskyi — PowerBank Xiaomi 10000 mAh
Oleksandr Kholiava — headphones
Myroslav Yaroshchuk — headphones
Vitalii Balitskyi — subscription to Creative space Artynov
Oleksandr Verkholiak — subscription to Creative space Artynov
Bohdan Gavrilyshen — sweets
Artur Borusevych — sweets.

Bohdan Prymakovskyi, a student of VNTU, told how he got a job with the help of the Career Fair.

“My story began last spring when I actively looked for a job in IT-field. It's quite difficult for a person without experience in the industry. Searching vacancies on DOU and other thematic portals, developing similar test tasks and typical interviews mercilessly quenched ambitions. So, I came to the Career Fair 2016. That's where I found the SteelKiwi company, which gave me a chance to show myself as a software developer. Now I have had almost 2 years of invaluable development experience along with my dream team and a few cool projects.”

Student of VNTU Mariia Polova about her successful experience:

“In 2015, I was among the organizers of the BEST Career Fair at VNTU. I did not look for a job but HR manager Kateryna from Zoom Support offered me to go through basic screening, a small interview in English. And from the first attempt I found my first job!”
