This year as well as in 2016 Ihor Vasylenko, a third-year student of the Faculty of Machine Building and Transport of VNTU, has joined the national team of Ukraine in trap shooting and has become a candidate to the Olympic team of our country     Ihor Vasylenko, a multiple champion of Ukraine, began to train just four years ago.   Ihor has gone to the first competition of the Cup of Ukraine in six months since he took a gun in his hands. Then he was almost the last. And he expressed a claim to himself, “Why am I not the first?”   To shoot aptly Ihor is now going in for running and swimming three times a week. And three times a day ─ shooting.   Now Ihor is engaged in the Olympic training center. His coach is Vitalii Hrybovskyi, an honored coach of Ukraine.   “He is a brilliant trainer! I am very grateful to him. We have ahead a lot of victories!” Ihor is reasonably confident.   Lviv Sports School of the Association “Kolos” (Director ─ Liliia Bilinska) financially supports the talented young sportman.

  Roman Lukian, the third-year student of the Institute of Environmental Safety and Environmental Monitoring of VNTU, has been learning Japanese at Unitas language school in Tokyo during three months   Educational portal PedPRESA Information portal “My Vinnytsia”     To get to Tokyo and study there the language Roman had to go through a competitive selection.   Despite intensive studying Roman managed to travel nearly through all this mysterious island country.   The II International scientific and technical conference “Hydro-pneumatic drives and machines are modern achievements and applications” and the workshop “Implementation of advanced technologies at the enterprises of Vinnytsia region”, which presented the equipment and technology of the firms “Siemens” and “Festo”, was held in VNTU Dean of the Faculty of Machine Building and Transport, Professor Yurii Buriennikov mentioned that the organic relationship of the educational process, real production and scientific research is the basis for effective teaching at the University.   The reports of the Head of the didactics of the SE “Festo” E.   In 1970-1975, I studied at Vinnytsia Polytechnic Institute at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering at the Department of Microelectronics in specialty “Electronic Devices”. In those days, the main sources of knowledge for us were lectures, lecture notes and tutorials, laboratory and practical classes, and the main place of independent study was a library.   Being a student and after graduation I travelled walking with a backpack and tent, riding a bike, floating by kayak along roads and rivers of Vinnytsia, Transcarpathia, Crimea.   I spent my student years in the society of double standards and stereotype imposing when individual point of view and thinking were rather the exception.   All students knew that after graduation they would be provided with a work with approximately the same salary regardless of the level of their knowledge or individual opportunities.   After graduation I worked according to the distribution at Nizhyn machine building plant.

  On December 7 Startup school “Sikorsky Challenge” was opened in Vinnytsia National Technical University   “The current event is a new page in the history of the University and the region. Today we launch the ecosystem of startup training. We can teach students to start their own business”, said Rector of VNTU, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Hrabko.   Ukraine's first innovative ecosystem “Sikorsky Challenge” was created almost three years ago in the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Ihor Sikorskyi”.   Startup school “Sikorsky Challenge” in VNTU is the second one.   On November 30, President and co-owner of the UBC Group Ihor Humennyi met with students of Vinnytsia National Technical University.
