Also the Vinnytsia National Technical University according to the international database of  scientometrics “Scopus” was marked  with a certificate the "Quality of scientific publications» High honors - Grand-Prix "The leader of the international activity" and the certificate   "Quality of scientific publications" were presented to the Vinnytsia National Technical University on the V  International Exhibition "Modern Educational Institutions - 2014." 18 - 20 March in the exhibition center "KyivExpoPlaza" held the main educational event of the year - the Fifth international exhibition "Modern Educational Institutions - 2014." The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and the company "World Expo".

Today, on March 24th at the meeting of the administration of the Vinnytsia National Technical University it was unanimously decided to transfer one day earning of the university faculty and staff to help Ukrainian Army This initiative was announced by the university accounting department, because  this financial division in the university for about two weeks had a mass appeal of the VNTU employees asking during this dangerous period to the territorial integrity of the country, to transfer funds from their salaries to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Conformance statements by teachers and staff of the VNTU are written at their own will, taking into account the difficult situation that the country is experiencing now. Every day more and more are attached to the university community charitable support of Ukrainian soldiers. A stack of applications is rather big, and the willing ones who want financially assist to our troops  is becoming more and more.

Within three months, the candidate of technical science, an associate professor of the department of ecology and environmental safety of the Vinnytsia National Technical University, Vitaliy Eshchenko trained at the Dresden Technical University The associate professor Vitaliy Eshchenko held internships in December 2013 - February 2014 in the Institute of Waste Management and contaminated sites at the Dresden Technical University. This was made possible due to the financial support from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The Dresden Technical University is one of the biggest and one of the oldest technical universities in Germany — here study about 37000 students and work over 4000 employees. Noteworthy there is that in the German universities almost all employees, except part of people of senior age, freely speak English.  It allows them easily to be integrated in a world science.

  A Freshman of the Institute of Information Technologies and Computer Engineering at the Vinnytsya National Technical University Dmitry Kryvyi  gratifies and surprises at the same time with his IT- victories   A Freshman of the Institute of ITCE at the VNTU Dmitry Krivyi won at the XIII Ukrainian championship in Information Technology "Ecosoft 2014". His authoring intelligent hardware and software project received the first prize.   Also at the regional finals (Kyiv)  in the International Championship of computer talent "Golden byte" Dmitry won first place in the category “Startup challenge”.   The student received a formal invitation to the International Competition INFOMATRIX, to be held 8-12 May 2014 in Bucharest (Romania).   This talented Freshman of the Institute of ITCE won the All-Ukrainian competition in inventive and innovative projects of ecological and naturalistic direction, which was held in Kyiv on 11-13 February.

  The exhibition of artistic works of students, teachers and employees of the university was opened at the same time with the opening of the XLIII scientific and technical conference of the VNTU, that is now going at the University   Traditional scientific and technical conference of faculty advisors, employees and students of the university with participation of workers of research organizations and technical and engineering employees of enterprises of Vinnytsya and the Vinnytsa area that this year started already for the 43-rd time is dedicated to the 200-years anniversary of Kobza-player (T.Shevchenko).   The spacious show-room (audience 2262) of a university Center of culture and education of students appeared to be undersized, not able to contain all offered exhibits on the traditional exhibition of student artistic works, that is usually timed to the conference. Presently to the students have joined, outstandingly surprising the amateur ability and original attitude, teachers and employees.

XLIII  scientific-technical conference of the faculty, staff and students of the VNTU with the participation of research organizations and engineering and technical personnel of enterprises in Vinnitsa region confined to the 200th anniversary of the world famous ukrainian poet and writer Taras Shevchenko       Today, on March 9th - is 200 years since the birth of Taras Shevchenko.   The anniversary of the poet has symbolically joined with a turning point in the history of Ukraine. The significant date now is being celebrated not only by Ukrainian, but also by the world community. Google has placed on the search page a doodle with Taras Shevchenko. (Doodle — a logo of Google, which is done in honor of various significant events and holidays).   Dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of poet the XLIII Scientific Conference of the faculty, staff and students of the VNTU with the participation of research organizations and engineering and technical personnel of enterprises in Vinnitsa region.

National Scientific Conference of young scientists, postgraduates and students  “Innovative providing of sustainable development of Ukraine in the context of integration into the European Community " was held in Vinnytsia National Technical University on February 21st.       Scientific forum was organized by the Department of Finance at the VNTU under the auspice of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the active support of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University (Faculty of Economics Department of Entrepreneurship), Chernivtsy National University named after U.Fedkovych (Faculty of Economics) and the regional branch of the National Institute for Strategic Studies in Lviv.   The young scientists were greeted by a short speech made by the pro-rector for research work at the VNTU, PhD in technical sciences, Professor Sergei Pavlov. He stressed the relevance and urgency of the theme of the conference, substantiated the necessity and advantages of the theory of sustainable economic development.

   

  In engineering competitions winning teams are “Bazzzinga” and  “KiPiSh”. For the fourth year in a row in VNTU are held all-European engineering competitions EBEC, which have become a real holiday for students and a tradition. This year engineering competitions were held from 3 to 7 February. Contest, as usual, was done in two categories at the same time: Case Study - teams get tasks and have to forecast, develop, simulate and solve a problem and efficiently present the results of their work. Team Design - teams get tasks and have to develop a system, create a device or mechanism of the provided elements.     In Team Design category registered 18 teams of 4 members each. To participate in the basic stage of the competition in terms of the local phase of the competition were allowed only 6 teams, so during the first day of competition was done a selection's process.

  The main prize and the title of "Mr. Charm" of the VNTU in 2014 along with the title "Mr. Audience Award" was won by Andrew Moroz, a student of the 4th year at the Institute of Engineering and Transportation.     In VNTU there is a type of Olympic discipline, a kind of an all-around modern gentleman. It is in this contest came eight finalists of different institutes of the University (the University consists of eight different Institutes). The jury worked hard evaluating all the members in different nominations: ”At the catwalk ", then by their "Video-presentation" (actually it was a kind of a mini-movie), the erudition, the choreographic abilities. But traditionally the most spectacular and most exciting was a creative competition. Applicants for the title of "Mr. Charm" prepared whole compositions with specially written texts.
