  At Vinnytsia National Technical University, the ensemble of Vinnytsia city Union of Veterans of Afghanistan “Pereval (Pass)” told about hostilities, heroism of Ukrainian soldiers and sang   Educational portal PedPRESA   There are more than a hundred songs in the creative workouts of Vinnytsia band “Pereval”. All songs are devoted to military-patriotic themes. Many of them are about events in the East of Ukraine. Such a charity action is not only a concert but also an exhibition of small arms conducted by “Pereval” in cooperation with Vinnytsia branch of the All-Ukrainian Union of combatants in the ATO “Pobratymy of Ukraine (Sworn brothers of Ukraine)” at educational institutions of Vinnytsia.   Oleksandr Skrypnyk, Leader of “Pereval” said, “All the funds that we earn on such events are transferred for the needs of the front line, for the needs of soldiers undergoing the rehabilitation in Vinnytsia. With out creativity, we try to preserve the memory of fellows who gave their lives defending Ukraine.

  On April 17, a team of specialists from Western Ukraine conducted an information day and practical training “Horizon 2020: opportunities to participate in 2018-2020” at Vinnytsia National Technical University The participants are VNTU, the National University “Lviv Polytechnic”, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Uzhgorod National University, Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. Information event was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.   Welcoming the guests, Rector of VNTU, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Hrabko said,   “Getting to “Horizon 2020” is not so easy. The main stipulation is a personal contact between a domestic scientist and foreign scientist. Our today's guests are going to tell us how to overcome the path to “Horizon 2020” and how to interest foreign partners. And first of all, how the intellectual property not to lose but to give it a new impetus.

  On March 21, a member of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Head of the startup school Sikorsky Challenge Vinnytsia, Head of the Department of Integration of Training with Manufacturing of Vinnytsia National Technical University, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Kostiantyn Koval spoke at the Parliamentary Hearings “National Innovation System: Status and Legislative Support of the Development”   The purpose of the Parliamentary Hearings is a broad public discussion of the state and strategic directions of Ukraine's innovation development, legislative support for the formation of the national innovation system of Ukraine, the definition of key tasks of state authorities of Ukraine, local self-government and civil society in ensuring effective implementation of the tasks.

  Vinnytsia National Technical University received the highest rank and the main award — Grand Prix at the international exhibition “Modern Educational Establishments-2018”   Information portal “My Vinnytsia” Information portal “Vinnytsia Ok”   The main event of the educational branch of Ukraine – the Ninth International Exhibition “Modern Educational Establishments” and the Seventh International Exhibition of Education Abroad “World Edu” was held in Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth on March 15-17. The organizers are the company “Exhibition World” with the support and participation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as well as the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. In addition to the Grand Prix, VNTU won a gold medal for the introduction of modern teaching aids, curriculum projects and technologies to improve and increase the efficiency of the educational process.

  Traditional contest “Miss of Vinnytsia National Technical University” was held in the city palace of arts “Zoria” (“Dawn”) on March 15   Information portal “My Vinnytsia”   Information portal “Vinnytsia Ok”   This is the first time when a favourite university contest has changed the location, it was not held in the assembly hall of VNTU but in the “Zoria”. The First Secretary of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Ukraine Wang Datsum and the Third Secretary of the Chinese Embassy Liu Thai discussed with VNTU the details of the establishment of Confucius Institute at VNTU   Educational portal PedPRESA Information portal “My Vinnytsia” Information portal “Vinnytsia Ok”   Lanzhou University of Technology initiated a wide cooperation with Vinnytsia National Technical University and in particular the establishment of Confucius Institute at VNTU. This University has a century-old history and the position of the best university in Northwest China.   Last year Rector of VNTU, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Hrabko and Head of the Department of Philosophy, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Oleh Khoma attended Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu Province in China, at the invitation of the President of the Technology University of Lanzhou.

  The winner of the 1st place will be receiving a scholarship of 2000 UAH/month for six months. Two winners of the 2nd place will be receiving a scholarship of 1500 UAH/month. Three winners of the 3rd place will be receiving a scholarship of 1000 UAH/month This year the Olympiad will have 6 categories: - Algorithms & data structures (C++) - Development using .Net (C#) - Web Dev - Mobile - Data Science - QA   The category Algorithms & data structures (C++) is obligatory for all participants of the Olympiad.
