Traditional contest "Miss of Vinnytsia National Technical University" will be held in the city palace of arts "Zoria" ("Dawn") on March 15 at 18.30 This is the first time when a favourite university contest has changed the location, it will not be held in the assembly hall of VNTU but in the " Zoria ".   Eight students of Vinnytsia National Technical University, one from each faculty, will take part in the bright and emotional competitions of young beauties.   №1 — Mariia Koliadych — Faculty of Computer Systems and Automation. № 2 — Alina Dushko — Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Engineering. №3 — Anna Kulmatytska — Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Electromechanics. №4 — Alina Melnyk — Faculty of Infocommunications, Radioelectronics and Nanosystems. №5 — Anastasiia Hrishchenko — Faculty of Civil Engineering, Thermal Power Engineering and Gas Supply. №6 — Yelyizaveta Matiukhina — Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport.

  The Faculty of Computer Systems and Automatics of Vinnytsia National Technical University ( http://inaeksu.vntu.edu.ua/ ) has been enrolling students of 10-11 forms to the Training IT-Department of VNTU since March 1   Registration to the IT-Department of VNTU is done at the school IT SCOUTS VNTU, which is the flagship of the youth technical movement of Vinnytsia region.   The Training IT-Department of VNTU offers the courses in contemporary applied information technologies, data analysis technologies, intelligent automation systems, robotics (Lego Mindstorms, Arduino, Embedded Systems), as well as optical information technologies.   Teaching will be provided by the leading teachers of all six departments of the Faculty of Computer Systems and Automatics of Vinnytsia National Technical University who lecture students IT subjects.

  Fourth-year student of the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Engineering of VNTU Ivan Vorobiov has recently returned from Austria, where he participated in the BEST educational course. BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) is the Council of Students of Technical Universities in Europe. It is a youth non-profit and non-political international organization involving 33 countries and is growing rapidly. BEST educational courses are held every year at 95 universities of Europe, which have BEST local centers including VNTU.   This year Ivan Vorobiov has decided to take the opportunity to attend an educational course from BEST for the second time, and this time he has taken part not only as a participant but also as a co-organizer.   The educational course in Graz lasted from January 30 to February 16. BEST in Vinnytsia holds a similar educational course once a year, in a different topic each year.

  On March 1, Igor Peer, an IT business expert and business coach, from Israel read the lecture “Innovative entrepreneurship: a startup from the idea to the launch” There was also an open Skype-lecture “Blockchain and Cryptocurrency: history, problems and prospects” read by Maxim Grudìn, an expert and analyst from Goldman Sachs Group, United States.   Participation in the Startup school provides additional points in academic practice to scholarship and while entering the Magistracy.   Regards, Organizing Committee   093-689-13-91 http://startup.vntu.edu.ua/

  The King and the Queen of the University were elected at Vinnytsia National Technical University. Andrii Lialiuk and Yana Badia won these titles at the ball devoted to Valentine's Day   Information portal “My Vinnytsia” Information portal “Vinnytsia Ok”     The aristocratic dance performance has taken place at the University for the second time. The theme of the ball was “Mix of Epochs”.   Seven duets of the contestants, each of which danced their “own” period of history, competed to win the honorary titles.   The Ancient Greece was presented by Alina Melnyk and Oleh Antoniuk (Faculty of Infocommunications, Radioelectronics  and Nanosystems).   The era of Maharajah’s kingdom was presented by Alina Pobirska and Ivan Melnyk (Institute of Environmental Safety and Environmental Monitoring).   The Epoch of Enlightenment was presented by Olena Shevchuk and Maxym Tsymbaliuk (Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Engineering).

  Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Safety of VNTU, candidate of technical sciences, Associate Professor Vitalii Ishchenko was taking internship at the Technical University of Vienna (Austria), at the Institute of Water Quality and Resource and Waste Management for three months (November – January)     The internship was fully funded by the Austrian Agency for international cooperation in education and science. Vienna University of technology is one of the most popular in Austria. It has a lot of buildings, some of which are located in ancient buildings (University is more than  200 years old) and some of which are located in modern buildings. More than 30 thousand students study at the University.   The main activity of Vitalii Ishchenko was devoted to the research of migration of heavy metals in the thickness of the waste. Reactors that simulate dumps designed to reproduce the conditions typical to landfills for household wastes were used.

  The British Council, the Institute of Higher Education of the National University of Educational Sciences and the United Kingdom Leadership Foundation for Higher Education have selected 14 universities for participation in the third cycle of the Leadership Development Programme of Ukrainian Universities Vinnytsia National Technical University entered the fortunate fourteen universities.
