A student of the Institute of ecological safety and environmental monitoring of VNTU Iryna Shkaraputa won the third place at the World Championship in Denmark On April 23, 21-year-old Iryna Shkaraputa won a bronze medal at the World Championship. A fragile girl from Vinnytsia, whose weight is 52 kg, lifted 100 kg from the chest! A Pole, who lifted 105 kg, and a French, who lifted 107.5 kg, left her behind.   It was Iryna’s first performance at the international competitions.   Irina says despite the fact that she debuted in the competitions of such level she was not nervous at all.   The powerlifter explains that she has chosen this sport to be strong and original.   Currently, the athlete works as a coach in the sports complex "Kolos", however, in the future she plans to connect her life not only with sports but also with the profession of an environmentalist, which she studies at Vinnytsia National Technical University.

  This year the first stage of All-Ukrainian student Olympiad in programming has traditionally become the first step to the world championship. In general, about 730 teams competed in Ukraine. On the basis of VNTU 65 teams took part in the competition. Vinnytsia National Technical University took the 1st place in Ukraine according to the number of teams on the site.   VNTU has received the highest rank and the main award ─ Grand Prix at the international exhibition “Education and Career-2016”   On April 14-16, Kyiv National Center of business and cultural cooperation “Ukrainian House” was helding the XXVII International Specialized Exhibition “Education and Career-2016”.   It was organized by the society “Knowledge of Ukraine” with the support and participation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.   Within the exhibition “Education and Career-2016” was also held the exhibition of foreign educational institutions “Education Abroad-2016”.   VNTU took part in the exhibition in the category “Research activities of the institution”. The Competition Commission awarded VNTU with the highest award ─ Grand Prix.   Our University also took part in the rating exhibition contest where VNTU received the honorary title of “Leader of Higher Education in Ukraine”.  

  The final of the all-Ukrainian student Olympiad in radio engineering — VSORT-2016 was held in Vinnytsia National Technical University   In addition to the main competition, there was also a practical tour. There the developments on the platform Arduino were proposed. This year Olympians have had to implement the resistance measurement device (ommetr), so they had 100 minutes for that and other 30 minutes to defend their results.   Students of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” won the first prize, the second prize was given to the team of Odessa Polytechnic University, and the National University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” received the third one.   One more opportunity to demonstrate the practical application of theoretical knowledge in radio engineering, competition-exhibition was given to students.

  On April 1, on the World Fools' Day Regional youth public organization “Vinnytsia KVN (Club of the Cheerful and Smart)” celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Vinnytsia humorina and awarded the best participant of KVN of the last season (2015)   In the most important nominations Miss KVN-2015  and Mr KVN-2015 the awards were received by students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Engineering of VNTU!   Miss KVN-2015 is Asia Kostelna, a master degree student of the Department of Software of VNTU!   Asia Kostelna is an excellent student, a certified graduate of the Academy of Cisco, a multiple winner of the international Olympiads and contests in programming, computer graphics, IT- technology, a sizar of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the last academic year.

  The final of the student's intellectual competition of future professionals in Radio Engineering is held for the eighth consecutive year in the most comfortable city to live in Ukraine   On April 5 - 8, on the basis of Vinnytsia National Technical University will be held All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Radio Engineering-2016.   This year for the first time a scientific seminar of the Scientific School of Doctors of Science Volodymyr Osadchyk and Oleksandr Osadchuk will be held as a part of the Olympiad.   Organized a research competition for youth in Vinnytsia by outfitted direction and traditionally planned developments creative competition and exhibition-competition of student's amateur development, which marked.

  On March 16-19, the 7th International exhibition “Modern education establishments – 2016" took place in the Palace of Children and Youth in Kyiv   The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and the company “Exhibition World”. Nowadays it is the most prestigious and largest educational exhibition in Ukraine.   VNTU was awarded with the Diploma-Grand Prix “Leader of scientific and technical activity” and the gold medal for significant achievements.   VNTU was also awarded with the Certificate of quality of scientific publications for high performance in scientometric Scopus database.   The University was also awarded with the Diploma of the exhibition “For the presentation of achievements and the implementation of pedagogical innovations into national educational field”.

    On March 17, an interuniversity project “The war is pulsing by fire” was opened in Vinnytsia National Technical University   Details on the educational portal PEDPRESA   It was organized on the initiative of Vinnytsia National Technical University and Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University named after M. Kotsiubynskyi actively supported by the military-patriotic club “Aidar” and the charity foundation “Children of Europe”.   The project started with the meeting of students with their peers-heroes who defend Ukraine and each of us on the eastern borders of the state. The event, which was entitled “Social dimensions of ATO “Warriors of light”, was attended by soldiers of the battalion “Aidar”, membersof the club “Aidar”, students and teachers of VNTU and VSPU named after M. Kotsiubynskyi, specialists of psychological support services of VNTU and representatives of the charity foundation “Children of Europe”.   Attendees honored the memory of forever twenty-year-old Volodymyr Mukha.

  On March 21-25 the V local stage of Engineering Competitions EBEC (European Best Engineering Competitions) will be held in Vinnytsia National Technical University       EBEC unites students, universities, companies and institutions from all over Europe promoting the formation of partnerships. Students develop their analytical, technical and soft skills, and improve the ability to solve problems by working in a team. This is an opportunity to learn in practice, become better and develop themselves at the international level.   The organizer of the competitions is a volunteer, non-profit and non-political organization BEST (Board of European Students of Technology), which works at VNTU. The team of organizers consists of 9 people.

  A long awaited event “Miss VNTU 2016” was held in VNTU   The girls who participated in the contest showed their originality in a video presentation.   The first defile did not leave indifferent any of the spectators. The girls were dressed in beaytiful bright dresses that gave a special warm spring mood.   This year the girls have impressed with their creative performances.   The final stage of the competition turned into a defile contest of evening dresses.   According to the results of voting of spectators, Olha Ilina (Institute of Environmental Security and Environmental Monitoring) won in the nomination "Miss Sympathy".   Mariana Vikarenko (Faculty of Radio, Telecommunication and Electronic Instrument Engineering) became "Miss Tenderness".   The title "Miss Creativity" received Halyna Bohachuk (Faculty of Information Technologies and Computer Engineering).
