After 4 years of study students environmentalists get educational qualification of Bachelor of qualified environmental organizer. On the basis of undergraduate students can continue their study to get a Master degree on a speciality "Ecology" (qualification ─ environmentalist, lecturer of higher education institutions) or Master degree on a speciality "Technology of Environmental Protection" (qualification ─ engineer of technogenic and ecological safety).

  Head of the Department of Material Resistance and Applied Mechanics of Vinnytsia National Technical University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vitalii Ohorodnikov was awarded with the title “Honored Worker of Science and Technology”   Professor Vitalii Ohorodnikov was awarded for his significant personal contribution into a state building, socio-economic, scientific and technical, cultural and educational development of Ukraine, the consolidation of Ukrainian society and his conscientious work.   This is stated on the official website of the President of Ukraine.   Professor Ohorodnikov has developed a unique method for determining the vehicle speed in a moment of impact when collisioning with an obstacle by means of residual damages. This method has widespread implementation in the case of judicial auto technical expertise. Actually, Professor Ohorodnikov himself is a judicial expert and may carry out judicial autotechnical examinations.

  By February 29, the scientific and technical library of VNTU will have been providing a test access to the databases of the known scientific metric platform Web of Science of Thomson Reuters Corporation according to the project "TORNADO" of the Consortium e-VERUM   Web of Science platform offers an access to a bibliographic database of scientific articles in prestigious periodicals, books and scientific conference proceedings indicating the actual citation of these materials.   It covers more than 57 million of  entries in 18 711 most influential journals in the world (in particular, in the public domain) and 150 thousand of scientific conference proceedings in the field of natural and social sciences, humanities and arts.

  The English language has gained its status not only due to the leadership of the English-speaking countries in the modern world but also due to the linguistic features   The decree of the President of Ukraine on November 16, 2015 declares 2016 is the Year of the English language in Ukraine. The president made the decision “taking into account the role of English as a language of international communication in order to promote its study to expand public access to the world's economic, social, educational and cultural opportunities offered by the knowledge and use of English, ensuring the integration of Ukraine into European political, economic, scientific and educational space in support of the program Go Global, which defines learning English as one of the priorities of development strategy”.   The program Go Global mentioned in the Decree of the President is a document developed by the National Council of reforms in June 2015 is entitled “National Foreign Language Learning and Promotion Initiative”.

  On December 28, scientists of Vinnytsia National Technical University gave a high-tech New Year gift to the soldiers who defend Ukraine in ATO   UAV, an unmanned aerial vehicle, which consists of two aircrafts and a specially equipped car, is unique. The drone actually is a complete robot that does not require radio control and does not emit any radio signals. It works “silently”; therefore, at an altitude of 200-300 metres it is invisible and almost undetectable. It can work an hour at a distance of 15 kilometres, at the speed of wind up to 12 meters per second and the temperature of air to minus 20 degrees.   Military of the 59th motorized infantry brigade are grateful to “Nebesna Dolyna” (“Celestial Valley”) — an educational and scientific center of radio engineering systems, and devices of VNTU, where almost a year and half scientists selflessly worked on creation of this unmanned aircraft.

  On December 24, at Vinnytsia National Technical University a memorial plaque was opened to student Volodymyr Mukha.   Everyone who attended this extraordinary event in Vinnytsia National Technical University had the opportunity to see the exhibition of aircraft models as well as was able to feel like a pilot Educational portal PEDPRESA Among the exhibits there were models that have already been successfully performing air photo intelligence in the ATO, for example, drone “Cyber-3”, which is used in the East of our country. The range of such UAVs is 300 km (!).   By the way, drones are created in “Nebesna Dolyna” (“Celestial Valley”) — an educational and scientific center of the development of radio communication systems and devices of Vinnytsia National Technical University. Oleksandr Pilhanchuk, a recent graduate of VNTU, whose developments have already been using in the ATO, said, “Domestic models are several times as cheap as foreign counterpartsbut are simpler in operation and maintenance.

  Rector of VNTU, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Volodymyr Hrabko took part in the 3rd International Conference “SYNERGY: IT-Education and IT-Industry” and was one of the speakers of this IT-Forum This event was attended by members of Parliament, heads of leading universities, representatives of the largest IT-companies in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, national and international experts on the development of IT-education in the Great Conference Hall of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.   Speaking at the Forum Rector of VNTU Volodymyr Hrabko noted, “There is a demand for IT-professions. At the same time there is a problem of the level of training school graduates and teaching staff of older age at universities does not fully master modern technologies. In addition, technical universities lack young teachers because of low salaries. Recently talented graduates immediately began to work in business, do not want to engage in postgraduate study”.

  This year in December the Museum of Podillia arts of Culture and Arts Center of VNTU has celebrated its 25th anniversary.
