  A center of the American company Autodesk, a world leader in the field of software development for computer-aided design, 3D-design, implementation tools of virtual reality, the industry of cinema and television is opened in Vinnytsia National Technical University   Educational portal PEDPRESA Information portal “My Vinnytsia”   Professor Oleksandr Romaniuk, associate professors Oleksandr Hoshaba and Viktoriia Voitko, teachers of VNTU, improved skills in the Autodesk representative office on the use of Autodesk products in the scientific and educational process.   Numerous victories of VNTU students at international competitions, which made them leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States, confirm the effective mastering Autodesk products by them.   It is Vinnytsia National Technical University that is entrusted to hold the International Competition of three-dimensional graphics and animation “Perspective”.

  On the eve of the Day of Dignity and Freedom in Ukraine students of VNTU debated about the importance of freedom and appraisement of human dignity for the successful development of a society The events that took place in Ukraine in late 2013 – early 2014 are called the Revolution of Dignity.   For two years there definitely have been changes in the public mind of the Ukrainians. But can these changes be called revolutionary? Remember the saying “by their fruits ye shall know them”. So what are the fruits we have today?   One of the key values, for which fought, was freedom. And what is freedom?   VNTU is a partner of the all-Ukrainian contest of innovative start-up projects of students of IT-training     On November 15, contest “IT-Eureka! Ukraine 2015” was launched.   The contest of innovative start-up projects of students of IT-training is open and is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.   The contest is organized within the Tempus project “National Education Framework for Enhancing IT-Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NEFESIE)”. The contest is aimed at identifying innovative start-up projects in the field of information technology; the promotion and intensification of innovative and entrepreneurship activities of students, as well as the development of a systematic cooperation between Ukrainian students, researchers and specialists in the field of IT to enhance their creativity.

  Popular modern dance studio DANCE EDEM of Vinnytsia National Technical University has won the first prize of the Third International Television Festival “Lviv’s Lights” Dance studio DANCE EDEM has been successfully representing VNTU at various competitions for 12 years. It has taken part in the festival of international significance for the first time.   DANCE EDEM introduced two compositions at the discretion of the jury, whose members represented Ukraine, United States and Italy,.   The jury noted the high level of mastership, artistry of the participants, artistic integrity of the compositions.   In the category of young people (18-25 years) dance studio DANCE EDEM consisting of Yurii Babii, Olha Adamchuk, Oleksandr Velhus, Tetiana Melnyk, Olha Ilina, Yurii Paryniuk, Anna Korobko, Mykhailo Kylymchuk, Oleksandr Morozov, Ihor Filippov won the first prize of the festival.   The head of DANCE EDEM is talented and creative Kateryna Fedorenko, Director of the university club.   Read more DANCE PARADISE.

  Daniel Fjærtoft, a partner and a Managing Director of Sigra Group, a representative of the University of Nordland (Bodø) gave a guest lecture in VNTU   Vinnytsia National Technical University is a partner of the project UKRAINE-NORWAY in Ukraine, which is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.   NORWAY-UKRAINE project is aimed at professional retraining and social adaptation of servicemen and members of their families in Ukraine.   The Faculty of Machine Building and Transport of VNTU has successfully been participating in the project “Ukraine-Norway” for several years.   Now VNTU is retraining 35 listeners in the direction of “Energy Efficient Management”.   Daniel Fjærtoft lectured “Energy saving without investing own funds is an energy contract in Ukraine”.   The lecturer is an experienced specialist and has a consulting practice in the field of energy efficient technologies.

  Five teams of students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Engineering of VNTU took part in the final of the IV All-Ukrainian contest of startups “SikorskyChallenge 2015”   ІТ-education in Ukraineі On October 12-16, the final of the IV All-Ukrainian contest of startups “SikorskyChallenge 2015” was held at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.   Five teams of students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Engineering of VNTU took part in the final. The contest was participated by professionals in the field of engineering and design, graduate students, scientists, teachers (candidates and doctors of Technical Sciences), who have innovative ideas and projects, entrepreneurs and startups. So it was not easy for our students to compete in this contest.   All of our students successfully participated. They presented their reports in Ukrainian and English.

  On October 27-29, the Department of Metrology and Industrial Automation of VNTU held the Third International Conference “Measurement, control and diagnosis in technical systems”   Details on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine In addition to Vinnytsia National Technical University, the organizers of this Conference were the Academy of Metrology in Ukraine, the New University of Lisbon (Portugal), Technical and Humanitarian Academy (Bielsko-Byalo, Poland), State Enterprise “Vinnytsia Research and Production Center of Standardization, Metrology and Certification”, educational and scientific centre “Pallada”.   The aim of the Conference is to highlight scientific achievements of Ukrainian and world leading scientists in the field of measurement, control and diagnosis in technical systems as well as their application in industrial enterprises of Ukraine.   More than 15 doctors of Technical Sciences and more than 25 candidates of Technical Sciences took part in the sessions.
