Vinnytsia National Technical University was awarded with a diploma of the Verkhovna Rada (Supreme Council) of Ukraine for services to the Ukrainian people. At the meeting of the Scientific Council of VNTU, People's Deputy of Ukraine Serhii Kudlaienko handed the diploma to Rector of VNTU, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Hrabko.

So, she hasn’t even dreamt of the beach and the sea.   Inna Kaska has been working for the Grace modeling agency as a model for 5 years.   Vladyslav Okhov, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Power Engineering and Electromechanics of Vinnytsia National Technical University, the chairman of Vinnytsia Union of the National Scout Organization of Ukraine “Plast”, has the idea to create its branch at VNTU “I became a member of “Plast” in 2014; I began my activity in Kalynivka center. This is my hometown. I immediately liked bing involved in this movement. I began to take on administrative duties. Having become a student of VNTU, I headed Vinnytsia “Plast”. Here I deal with two groups of children. One group consists of 16-year-old teenagers, the other group consists of 11-year-old children. Members of “Plast” train, go to camps in nature and comprehensively develop. But we have few staff of my age who can help children develop. Therefore, we had got the idea to make local centers at universities. For students it is a conscious choice to take assume responsibility,” says Vladyslav Okhov. He decided to start with the alma mater.

  The team of Vinnytsia National Technical University represented Ukraine at the Enactus World Cup, which took place on October 9-11 in the Silicon Valley (San José, California, USA) The Enactus team of VNTU has already participated in these prestigious competitions of such a high level — the ENACTUS WORLD CUP — for the fifth time. The Enactus team of VNTU: - Viktoriia Bohachuk, a new captain of Enactus VNTU; - Yanna Tchaikovska, the captain of three seasons of Enactus VNTU; - Bohdan Pivoshenko; - Serhii Shataliuk. Andrii Zhuravlov and Dmytro Ivchuk also attended the competitions as a part of the delegation.   The first stage of the competition was drawing lots: the division of 36 countries of the world into 6 leagues, 6 teams in each. Our team was the very last to draw the place. That is, they did not have a choice and were forced to play in the league with very strong teams, for example, from India — the last year winner. On October 19-21, the semifinal of the students’ team world championship in programming АСМ-ІСРС in south-eastern Europe, which is also the finale of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in programming, was held at Vinnytsia National Technical University for the eighth time.   Educational portal PedPRESA Information portal “Vinnytsia Ok” Information portal “My Vinnytsia” As usual, this world semifinal of south-eastern Europe (SEERC) took place simultaneously at two sites: Vinnytsia National Technical University and Bucharest Polytechnic University (Romania). Fourty-two Ukrainian and five Turkish teams competed at VNTU. The Ukrainian teams are the winners of regional competitions of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in programming, which was attended by more than two thousand students.

  Vinnytsia National Technical University has celebrated its 58th anniversary!   Information portal “Vinnytsia Ok” Information portal “My Vinnytsia”   The holiday started with a bike riding. Not only students and professors but also the Rector rode along the neighboring streets with the flag of VNTU. The creative scientific and technical university decorated the main square with a symbolic arch of the VNTU. The faculties organized an exhibition of their achievements ─ a hand-made fair and dishes of the world.   Director of the Main Center for Educational Work of VNTU, associate professor Anatolii Tekliuk thought out a dancing flash mob with the rector for the current holiday. So, the head of the University very organically joined the student dance band “Feliz Baile” (the leader of the ensemble is Oleh Filipov). And it was really cool!   After the dances, the Rector of the University presented the awards of the Ministry of  Education to the staff.

On September 25-26, IT-Days took place at Vinnytsia National Technical University.An event that has long been the norm at universities of Kyiv, Lviv, and Kharkiv only begins in Vinnytsia   Information portal “Vinnytsia Ok” Information portal “My Vinnytsia” IT-Days at VNTU is an event aimed to acquaint senior IT-students with potential employers and help students orientate in technical areas and modern information technologies that are now the most relevant and in demand in our city as well as in the world. IT-Days were organized by the Department of Computer Sciences of VNTU together with friends and partners from Vinnytsia IT-community. Eight IT-companies took part in the two-day program of IT-Days: - on the first day – Apex.Rest, BlockSoftLab, Exadel, Jelastic; - on the second day – Gemicle, NestLogic, Playtika, SteelKiwi. There were also present representatives of other IT-companies from Vinnytsia who were interested in participating in further IT-events organized at VNTU.

  Viktor Horeniuk is a pilot by specialty. He had been flying almost two decades and now Viktor Horeniuk teaches students of VNTU.
